AVWOT is developing what it refers to as the AVWOT Perspective. The AVWOT Perspective is essentially our foundation of "givens" or facts, observations and principles derived from our collective lessons learned and common experiences from fighting the War on Terror. We intend to develop a process to compile this "perspective" based upon the experiences and insights from our members. While it will continue to evolve and develop over time, we will use this perspective as the basis of our War on Terror Education Program. Our objective is to use the AVWOT Perspective to help guide our organization's views and formal positions. We also believe that the AVWOT Perspective will help ordinary American citizens see through the partisan politics quagmire and focus on the real issues confronting our Nation's National Security.
