NATION FIRST - America’s place and security in the world is neither guaranteed nor an ordained certainty. Thus, National Security issues must always be dealt with in a non-partisan political or "business as usual" manner.

RESPECT THE FLAG AND THE WARRIOR - Patriotic debate is a right of freedom that comes hand in hand with basic civic responsibilities. Therefore, citizens must understand that the manner and method that one chooses to debate issues have effects that go well beyond domestic politics. We will always think first and foremost of our brothers and sisters in the field and the values for which we all fought.

FREEDOM IS THE ULTIMATE GOAL - The War on Terror must be fought in a manner which recognizes that the ultimate goal is not simply the success of our nation, but the success of freedom. With that, however, comes the understanding that perfect security is an impossibility and an unrealistic expectation of our Government.
